09.09.2026: Welcoming Simone Clarke, MEd, as an Advisor to the Organization
The Council on Interdisciplinary Advancement gives a warm welcome to Simone Clarke, who will join as an advisor to the Organization.
Simone is an accomplished educational administrator, media executive, and non-profit leader with nearly three decades of multi-sector experience spanning public education, digital media, and corporate risk management. She serves as Executive Director of MEFeater ImpactHub, a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to empowering youth aged 13–24 through experiential learning in media, public relations, digital content, and event production. Parallel to her non-profit leadership, she is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of MEFeater Magazine, leveraging over a decade of entrepreneurial experience in digital publishing to bridge opportunity gaps for underrepresented youth in the creative economy.
Prior to driving mission-focused media initiatives, Ms. Clarke spent 18 years within the New York City Department of Education, serving as both an Assistant Principal and a High School Mathematics Teacher. Her extensive background in institutional leadership, curriculum implementation, and pedagogical strategy informs her approach to creating high-impact youth programming, including paid summer immersions, after-school branding workshops, and civic engagement forums. Her earlier career as an International Risk Manager and Underwriter at Kemper laid the foundation for her expertise in organizational governance, strategic partnerships, and financial management.
Simone holds a Master of Education in Secondary School Administration and Principalship from Touro University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and Operations from St. John's University. Through her interdisciplinary vision, she continues to cultivate strategic partnerships across corporate, civic, and educational sectors to expand pathways for the next generation of creative leaders.
We are thrilled to have Simone on board!
Sincerely,
The Executive Board & Advisors
