07.01.2026: Welcoming Krista-Knight-Paisley, MBA, CAPM, as an Executive Director of the Organization
The Council on Interdisciplinary Advancement gives a warm welcome to Krista Knight-Paisley, who will join as the Secretary and executive director of the Organization.
Krista Knight-Paisley is a high-impact operations executive and systems thinker who specializes in translating complex operational data into enterprise strategy, modernizing governance frameworks, and driving global change initiatives. Currently serving as the Executive Director of PayBack, Inc., Krista leads the enterprise transformation of juvenile justice and restorative programs in Missouri, evolving the organization from a traditional service-vendor model into a policy-informed, data-driven accountability platform. In this capacity, she bridges institutional divides, translating system-level data into compelling narratives for judicial stakeholders and state legislators to shape public policy.
Krista’s expertise in navigating high-stakes corporate complexity was forged during a distinguished, progressive tenure at the international law firm Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (BCLP). As Senior Project Manager of Partner Performance Integration, she directed the annual review and compensation program for a global partnership of over 425 partners, serving as a vital strategic advisor to the C-suite and the Partner Remuneration Committee. At BCLP, Krista excelled at dismantling operational silos, unifying fragmented data into centralized, queryable platforms and co-authoring comprehensive financial playbooks that standardized global governance, foreign exchange mechanics, and compliance requirements across regions.
Her foundational mastery of large-scale change management was developed within BCLP's Transformation Office, where she supported Project Advance; a firm-wide strategic overhaul executed in partnership with McKinsey & Company. In this role, she coordinated more than 20 enterprise initiatives across 30 global offices, designing real-time dashboards to monitor program health and ensure operational alignment for 3,000+ employees. She carries this same commitment to structured execution into her civic work, serving as a registered lobbyist with the Missouri Ethics Commission, a board member for Utility Assist, and a volunteer for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA).
Krista holds an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis - Olin Business School and maintains advanced industry credentials, including Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) and specialized certifications in Agile and Change Management. Melding corporate rigor with a deeply grounded dedication to community advocacy, Krista continues to lead complex organizations through periods of profound operational and cultural evolution.
We are excited to have you on board, Krista!
Sincerely,
The Executive Board & Advisors
