Roby’s professional journey is a testament to her adaptability and entrepreneurial spirit. After earning her Master’s in Human Factors in Information Design from Bentley University, she spearheaded immersive UX research in Virtual Reality and led inclusive design strategies for Fortune 1000 brands like Amazon and Google. Her background in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from LSU informs her approach to leadership coaching and DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging), where she has notably served as a NeurodivERGent Lead at Mathison, advocating for equitable hiring practices and the mobilization of diverse talent data.
A multifaceted leader, Roby’s experience ranges from managing $35M+ portfolios to founding Zakim Paint Co., a queer- and veteran-owned business born out of the COVID-19 pandemic to provide work for marginalized communities. Her commitment to service extends to her role on the CX Advisory Board for Our Lady of the Lake University and her long-standing membership in the International Society for Philosophical Enquiry (ISPE). Whether commissioning LGBTQ+ sports leagues or optimizing human systems for the Department of Defense, Roby remains dedicated to delivering real mission impact through solutions that prioritize the human experience.
