06.25.2026: Welcoming Michael Edward Ring as an Executive Director of the Organization

The Council on Interdisciplinary Advancement gives a warm welcome to Michael Ring as an Executive Director of the Organization.

Michael has been a staunch supporter of us in his role as an advisor since the very beginning. He is a high-velocity operations and digital media executive currently serving as the Executive Vice President of Operations at PRINTING United Alliance. His presence on our Board will provide invaluable oversight on audience acquisition, revenue generation, and artificial intelligence integration.

Michael’s career is defined by his capacity to rapidly scale businesses. As the former Chief Operations Officer at Firecrown Media, he managed a $35M+ P&L, navigating major platform migrations and market expansions. His digital strategy at Access Intelligence resulted in building new revenue products that crossed the $1 million mark in their first year alone, earning him recognition as a FOLIO Rising Star.

A graduate of Johnson & Wales University in Marketing and Entrepreneurship, Michael’s sharp commercial instincts, technical depth in ad operations, and "audience-first" philosophy will be instrumental as he helps guide our organization's high-level governance and monetization frameworks.

Michael’s proven track record in digital and operational scaling positions as well as his feedback and direction with the organization’s mission will position us well for the future to better serve our members and broader community.
