Welcoming Our New Co-Vice Chairman

The Council on Interdisciplinary Advancement has inducted a new member of the Executive Board of Directors: co-Vice Chairman Edward M. Hertzman.

Edward formed The Hertzman Media Group in 2006, featuring a style and fashion magazine called Debonair Magazine, that he successfully sold as he began his new venture, The Sourcing Journal, which gained incredible traction and recognition as the global authority of news and research within the materials sourcing, logistics, and manufacturing sectors. 

Ed successfully sold the Sourcing Journal to Penske Media, one of the largest publishers in the United States, where he served as Executive Vice President until forming Athletech News, which focuses news and media coverage of the fitness and wellness sectors, globally. With the quick traction and success of Athletech News, Ed formed a new parent company, Hertzman Global Intelligence, and currently serves as the founding managing partner of the company while actively serving as the founding CEO of Athletech.

Ed has an incredible amount of entrepreneurial and corporate strategy & leadership experience, and he will be invaluable to our Executive Board and organization.
