The Council on Islam in America
Dear TCOIA community,
We’ve had one exciting conference together and have been building our web presence in the last few months. The overwhelmingly positive response from our last conference led us to believe that we would have had many hands. However, with the extra responsibilities and projects came extra work hours that were overstretching the very few individuals behind this project. Due to the inability to develop consistent committees and to raise funds we have decided to shut the Council project down. We hope that we were able to initiate important conversations that will last beyond the existence of this project—perhaps new organizations will spawn from these ideas.
